Studying abroad is also advantageous in terms of time. bachelor degree is usually 3 years in most of the countries( unless you do not speak English). In addition, in some countries you can work at least one year after your studies which enables you not only to study but also obtain an international reference on your CV. 

Contrary to popular belief, studying abroad is not very costly. When university prices abroad are compared with the cost of education in Turkey, it can be cheaper to study abroad in some countries than in Turkey. Although it varies from country to country, the annual cost of studying abroad starts from 25,000 TL including education + accommodation + living expenses. 

Diploma programs that create advantages for admission to universities abroad; 

  • AP (Advanced Placement) Program
  • IB (International Baccalaureate) Program
  • A Level Program

- In order to apply to programs that require a special talent exam, they must take the 2016-YGS and score at least 150 points from any of the 2016-YGS scores.
- In cases where those who want to study at recognized higher education institutions abroad outside the top 1000 do not have YGS and LYS scores;

  • SAT 1: At least 1000 points
  • ACT : At least 21 points
  • Abitur : At least 4 points
  • French Baccalaureate : Diploma grade at least 12
  • GCE A Level Certificate: At least 2 subjects
  • International Baccalaureate (International Baccalaureat IB) : At least 28
  • Austrian Matura Diploma (Matura Reifezeugnis) : Up to 2
  • Italian Maturita Diploma (Diploma di Maturita) : Minimum 70

If they register and graduate with one of the equivalent documents determined as "equivalency", their applications for equivalency will be evaluated individually and the above-mentioned issues will be valid for each academic year until a new regulation is made.
